Directions for Use

1. Bring 8 oz (240 mL) of fresh water to a rolling boil.
2. Add ½ teaspoon of dried eyebright herb to the hot water.
3. Cover and steep for 15 minutes.
4. Strain the infusion thoroughly through several layers of sterile cheesecloth or a fine sterile filter to remove all herb particles.
5. Allow the eyewash to cool completely before use.

How to Use

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Fill a clean, sterile eyewash cup with the prepared eyewash.
3. Place the eyewash cup gently over one eye.
4. Tilt your head back until the solution completely covers the eye.
5. Blink several times while slowly moving your eye from right to left and up and down for about 20 seconds.
6. Discard the used solution.
7. Refill the eyewash cup with fresh solution and repeat the process for the other eye.
8. Use twice daily, morning and evening, or as directed by your healthcare provider.

Important Safety Information

• Prepare a fresh batch daily and discard any unused solution.
• Do not use the same solution for both eyes.
• Do not use if the solution becomes cloudy or contaminated.

Directions

Before using the honey, let the bottle sit in warm water for about 5 minutes. This helps the honey flow more easily.

When using the drops, expect a brief stinging sensation that should subside quickly.

Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper over the eye and gently squeeze one drop into the pocket of the lower eyelid.

Close your eyes for 5 to 10 minutes. Afterward, blink your eyes several times to help spread the honey across the surface of the eye.

Wipe away any excess liquid with a clean, damp towel or cloth.
